Joy of the Jump Book

Joy of the Jump, By Star Dewar is a delightful peek at a baby Spinner Dolphin striving to complete his first real jump.  This is an attempt to show off in front of a 13 month old little human floating with her Mother and Grandmother.

Every Seen Pygmy Killer Whale Teeth?

Every Seen Pygmy Killer Whale Teeth?

This Pygmy Killer Whale was about nine or ten feet long. I was shocked to see that it did not mind my hanging around pointing my camera at it. After a while I just put my camera down and a rare moment ensued.

Crystal Dolphin Rainbow Arc

Crystal Dolphin Rainbow Arc

The kayak paddler spotted the Tiger Shark only 30 yards from the kayak. We were summoned to return quickly. The dolphins gathered in more shallow water and invited us back in with this Dolphin Shaped Rainbow. This photo was not manipulated in any way. The crystal dolphin was not seen until the slide transparencies were developed.

Underwater photographs of Spinner and Spotted Dolphins

Underwater photographs of Spinner and Spotted Dolphins

These Spotted dolphins swam with me for a very long time. They knew I was exhausted so when I focused on where we were, it was shallow water. They were actually carving symbols in the sand. The calves were dragging their tails as if to write something profound too.
